KeepPixels in numbers

Real counters from our own anonymous measurement. They appear here once there is enough data to be meaningful.

What is counted

Each time a file finishes converting in your browser, the page sends one tiny message: the tool name, the page language and a size range. It never contains the file, its name, your IP address or an identifier, and it is skipped if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The full list of fields is in the privacy policy.

Why “0 files uploaded”

Conversion runs in a Web Worker on your device, and the page’s security policy only allows the converter to load its own code. The test suite includes a check that no network request carries a file. That is why the number of files uploaded to a server is zero, and why it will stay zero.

How the numbers are produced

The figures are the sum of those messages over the last 30 days, refreshed hourly. We don’t round them up, and we don’t show them while they are too small to mean anything.
